After founding the unique, guitar-heavy Donerail, and performing as the "stunt" guitarist for Portland sonic rocker's Charming Birds, Josh Patrice has released a collection of calmer, gentler songs in Lent.

Culled from personal sessions, late night writing escapades, and Donerail b-sides, Lent shows us a different side of Patrice's guitar playing and song-writing.

Gone are the sounds of attacking guitars, gigantic drums and sampled sounds of destruction, in their place warm guitars, pianos, mandolins, and more. While never straying too far from the pursuit of technique and unorthodox song structures, Lent provides a much more intimate introduction to one of Oregon's underground songwriters.
